Camps Bay Watch house plaques

The cost of the plaques are R50 each.

Plaques can be purchased from Alison Smith during office hours at Rawson Properties, Regent Road, Sea Point (near FNB & opposite the train carriage) OR from her home in the evenings or on weekends. Please call her on 084 438 1998 beforehand to ensure that she is at home.

Dog Owners Take Note - I have NO idea how to post a news or general story - however, I wish to make this warning public. If one of the mods can redirect this, please put it into the correct area and advise how to post general type stories that are not "incidents" please!

Western Cape and Gauteng dogs targetted

The SPCA is urging pet owners to keep a close eye on their animals following a spate of poisoning incidents in both the Western Cape and Gauteng.

In Gauteng, more than 40 dogs have died over the past two days. Most of the animals poisoned were in Roodepoort.

The SPCA’s Sarah Scarth says criminals are targetting watch dogs in suburbs in order to gain access to homes.

Scarth adds Capetonians must rather keep their pets inside at night to avoid criminals throwing toxin-laced food to them.

Scarth says police officials are investigating the dogs’ deaths.
