Bail Hearing Appeal

Bail Hearing Appeal

Congratulations and a heartfelt thanks to all of you who have attended the various court appearances leading up to the bail hearings and also the bail hearing themselves. Thanks to Ian Merrington for keeping the pressure on all of us to attend and for managing the process - Well Done!  The results of our efforts are massive and have already been felt as two of the accused have dropped their bail application partly as a result of our attendance (refer most recent CBW newsletter for the details)

Very Important - we now need to have the ultimate "piece de resistance" and assemble en mass for the next one on 19 May so we can FILL the gallery and leave NO SPACE for the Suspects support group. Please diarize as follows - Assemble 08h45, 19th May, in front of the Magistrates Court so we can get in early and fill the gallery of court 16. For those of you who have not yet "done your time" on the benches of the Cape Town Magistrates court, this is your opportunity to be part of the grand finale of phase one.
