Camps Bay Community Medics
The Camps Bay Community Medics consist of a small group of local volunteer paramedics who respond to emergency medical calls within their community. CBCM was started in 1997 in order to provide a fast response in case of a medical emergency. We aim to be on scene after a call within 10 minutes.
All of our members are also volunteers at other organizations such as the National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI), Clifton Surf Lifesaving, Hout Bay and Table Bay Volunteer Emergency Medical Services, the Red Cross Air Mercy Service, Vodacom Surf Rescue to name just a few.
CBCM Team (2005)We take pride in looking after the community we grew up in and are always looking for new members to join the unit. We are all medically qualified and have many years of experience on the road. All our members are required to be registered with the HPCSA.
