Step 1 - Your name and email

The registration is very simple and takes less than 2 minutes.

Step 2 - 's access details
All registered users must remember a username and password as some content on Camps Bay Watch such as member information or crime related incidents are not open to the general public.
, we suggest you use your firstname and lastname as username and a password that is at least 6 characters long.
Step 3 - 's address
Instructions:
1. This web site is strictly for residents of Camps Bay
2. Please enter only your street name in the box for “Street”. Do not enter any numbers in this box.
3. A short while after you start typing your street, a list of possible streets will be shown to you – please choose the right one from this list.
4. You will then see a list of street numbers – again please choose from this list.
5. Please be patient during this step while the Google map of Camps Bay loads.
6. Please check that we have correctly located your property on the map – if not, please let us know via the Contact CBW form on the right of this page.
7. If you live in an apartment or townhouse complex, please enter your block / complex name and your unit number in the Comments field at the bottom of the page
8. Schools, churches, businesses, etc: We want you to register with CBW, but this page is not for you. Please use the Contact CBW form on the right of the page to get in touch with us and we will register you manually.
9. If you experience any problems with this page (e.g. can’t find your street or street number), please use the form on the right to contact us – please give us much detail as possible as to what went wrong, particularly with regard to which step in the process didn’t work for you.
Step 4 - 's contact details
For reasons of safety in the community, your accurate contact details are important.
Your cell number can be used for automatic SMS notifications such as patrol reminders or emergency messages.
You can use the private/public fields to toggle if you want information seen by other registered members of the community or not.
PUBLIC means that this field can be seen by others WITHIN the community once they are registered. NO INFORMATION WHATSOEVER is being made available to anyone outside Camps Bay Watch.
If you later decide to change any of this information, the MY ACCOUNT section in the website caters for that.
Step 5 - 's other details
Lastly, some private information that will help us and the community to become closer.
Please upload a picture of yourself, which will be used on your profile and for CBW ID cards required by the department of community safety (DOCS).
Also, your South African ID number or passport number is a requirement from the DOCS, and rest assured, we will keep these details confidential!
