What happens if I cannot fulfill my patrol slot?

We recognize that circumstances do arise that prevent you from fulfilling your slot (family requirements, work commitments, illness etc). That is not a problem.

Try and find a replacement or ask your patrol co-ordinator to assist. We have a pool of people who are available on “stand by” for just such an eventuality.

If we cannot find anyone then we just leave that slot blank but please make sure that you inform the patrol before or after yours so that they can make alternate arrangements for kit collection. Also please always inform your patrol co-ordinator of any changes. or unavailability.

The more notice we get, the better.
